Catholic clients are seeking out therapists that are specifically Catholic so they can receive guidance which won’t contradict their beliefs. Clients desire true healing and understand this extends beyond the healing of just body and mind, but spirit as well.
As Catholic therapists, we know that pain and suffering is very real, but also that God can transform our brokenness. We can unite our suffering to Christ, and although the hardship may still exist, we may gain better peace and clarity with our struggles and experience healing and freedom from our wounds.
We also recognize that only God can bring about this healing, and as therapists, we work in His service.
The Wisconsin Consortium of Catholic Therapists (WICCT) will review your application to verify your Catholic identity and location. We will contact you if we have questions regarding your application, but we cannot guarantee acceptance to the consortium. We appreciate your interest.
